Is it safe to leave my car with you?
Yes: Tokio Marine insurance of R$ 1.000.000 per vehicle included, zero robberies or thefts in more than 20 years of operation, license plate recognition on every vehicle, cameras with continuous recording and 24-hour patrols.
The short answer lists the layers; here is what each one does in practice.
The layers of protection
- Insurance: a Tokio Marine policy of R$ 1.000.000 per vehicle, against robbery, theft and damage, included in the rate at every location for the whole stay. It is not optional and not charged separately.
- License plate registration: every car has its plate read automatically at the entrance (LPR).
- Cameras: Intelbras, with infrared and continuous recording. At Guarulhos there are 32 cameras covering about 90% of the lot, plus razor-wire fencing and lighting.
- 24-hour patrols at every location.
- Documented check-in: photos and a checklist of the car's condition on arrival, compared at handover.
The track record
In more than 20 years of operation, since December 2, 2005, the record is zero robberies or thefts, and 100% of claims of any kind were resolved. The network is family-run and self-managed; Marcelo, the owner, personally answers Google reviews every week. The Guarulhos location is rated 4.6/5 with more than 200 reviews, and on Reclame Aqui there are about 60 complaints in two decades, all answered — with more than 100,000 customers a month passing through the network.
What differs by location
At Congonhas and Tietê the car is not in an open lot: it is in the underground garage of a commercial building. At Congonhas, there has never been a reported robbery at the location or along the tunnel. At Guarulhos and Viracopos, if you would rather nobody touches the car, choose Tranca e Leve a Chave (lock and keep your key) and take the key with you.
