Does Congonhas have a shuttle?
No — because it doesn't need one: the parking is ~300 m from the terminal, a ~5-minute walk through the covered tunnel (open 24 hours, with escalators).
The decision not to run a van at Congonhas is a matter of design, not cost-cutting. The location is at Rua Vieira de Morais, 2110, in Campo Belo, and the terminal is about 300 meters away: any shuttle would spend more time maneuvering than the whole walk takes. With no van, there is also no waiting window and no risk of missing a departure.
The way to the terminal
You leave the car in the underground garage, enter the pedestrian tunnel toward the airport and take the escalators up to the departures level. It is the same tunnel that connects to the Aeroporto de Congonhas Metro/Monorail station, it is covered — no rain, no avenue to cross — and it runs 24 hours a day. For the first flight of the morning, that means leaving the car at 4:30 a.m. and being at check-in five minutes later.
On safety along the way: there has never been a reported robbery at the location or in the tunnel.
What changes in the operation
- The car is parked by a valet in the underground garage, and the key stays at the location during your trip.
- There is an auxiliary lot at Rua dos Chanés, 621, but reception and car handover are always at the main address.
- If you would rather not walk with luggage, there is an alternative: Clube Bandeira Plus subscribers hand over and receive the car at the boarding gate. At Congonhas this valet is exclusive to subscribers.
At the Guarulhos, Viracopos and Confins locations the distance is greater, and there the free 24-hour van does exist. The Tietê Bus Terminal follows the same logic as Congonhas: a 4-minute walk, no shuttle.
