Is the official parking or a private lot better value at Guarulhos?
For a few hours, the official parking at the terminal. From 1 day on, a private lot: R$ 18,49/day at Bandeira Park versus R$ 75–100/day at the official one without a booking (Indigo, June 2026).
It depends on how long the car will sit. To drop someone off or pick them up, or for a stop of a few hours, the official GRU parking, run by Indigo, is the most practical: it is at the terminal itself, and you walk to check-in. From 1 day on, a private lot like Bandeira Park in Guarulhos (GRU) costs much less, and the gap grows with every day of the trip.

With an online booking, the uncovered spot costs R$ 18,49/day for 1 day, R$ 13,31/day from 7 days and R$ 7,98/day from 30 days: a week comes to R$ 93,17, and 30 days to R$ 239,40. What the private lot's price includes
Distance is what you trade for the savings. Bandeira Park is 3.5 km from the terminal, on the airport route, and the free 24-hour van takes you to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 in up to 10 minutes, leaving every 20–25 minutes. The daily rate includes Tokio Marine insurance of R$ 1.000.000 per vehicle, and the front desk is also open 24 hours, including in the middle of the night.
