Valet at Guarulhos Airport: what it is and how it works
By Bandeira ParkPublished on 4 min read

Valet at the boarding gate means this: an accredited driver meets you at the terminal's departures curb, takes the car to the monitored lot and, when you land, returns the vehicle at arrivals. At Guarulhos Airport, the service is operated by Valetina (valetina.ai), a Bandeira Park Group partner, and costs R$ 26,40 per day on a 30-day basis. It is the only format where you neither walk nor take a van — you step out of your own car straight into departures.
Verified facts (checked in July 2026):
- Pay-per-use valet at the boarding gate: available at GRU (at CGH and VCP, exclusive to Clube Bandeira Plus)
- GRU price: R$ 26,40/day on a 30-day basis (Valetina)
- Booking at least 24 hours in advance
- R$ 1.000.000 Tokio Marine insurance per vehicle, including during the valet service

How valet works at GRU, step by step
The flow has three steps. You book at least 24 hours in advance and agree on the time; on the day, you drive to your terminal's departures curb (the service covers Terminals 1, 2 and 3), where an accredited, trained driver receives the car; the vehicle goes to the monitored lot at Bandeira Park Guarulhos, and you follow everything on WhatsApp. On the way back, the car is waiting for you at arrivals. Cancellation is flexible.
How much it costs
Premium valet at Guarulhos costs R$ 26,40 per day on a 30-day basis. For shorter periods, check prices when booking. As a reference, the regular parking table (without valet) is on our prices page: online daily rate from R$ 18,49 for an uncovered parking spot — June 2026 table.
Valet, VIP Spot (Vaga VIP) or Lock & Keep Your Key (Tranca e Leve a Chave)?
They are three different products — and it pays not to confuse them:
Product | Who keeps the key | Where the handover happens |
|---|---|---|
Valet at the boarding gate | Accredited driver | At the terminal (departures/arrivals) |
VIP Spot (Vaga VIP) | The lot's valet attendant | At the parking lot |
Lock & Keep Your Key (Tranca e Leve a Chave) (+20% on top of the rate) | You | At the parking lot, in a spot near the front desk |
Lock & Keep Your Key (Tranca e Leve a Chave) is for those who won't give up carrying the key; the VIP Spot (Vaga VIP) is the comfort of handing the car to a valet attendant inside the lot; valet at the boarding gate eliminates the trip to the parking lot entirely.
What about Congonhas and Viracopos?
At the other two airports, valet at the boarding gate exists — but it is exclusive to subscribers of Clube Bandeira Plus, the subscription that unlocks the service at all 3 airports (plans from R$ 59,90/month, sign-up through the call center at (11) 3017-5808). At GRU, any customer can book it pay-per-use.
Security during the valet service
The R$ 1.000.000 Tokio Marine insurance against theft, robbery and damage applies throughout the service, as at every location. The drivers are accredited and trained, the vehicle's condition is documented at handover, and the lot that keeps the car is the same as the GRU location's: infrared cameras, license plate recognition and 24/7 patrols — with zero thefts or robberies in more than 20 years of operation.
Who valet makes sense for
- Families with children — no van and no carrying the car seat across the lot.
- Executives on tight connections — the car waits at arrivals.
- Anyone traveling with bulky luggage — the handover happens at the terminal door.
In practice, departure day looks like this: you leave home on your own schedule, drive straight to the terminal — no stop at the lot, no van — and hand the key to the driver at the departures curb, with your bags already on the sidewalk. The WhatsApp updates confirm when the car reaches the monitored lot and, on the day you return, when it is already positioned at arrivals waiting for you.
